At the start of the cold season, three to four times a week you can hear the loud barking of our sled dogs throughout the Seeburg valley as we push our dog trailer out of the garage. The dogs are quickly loaded into their individual boxes. After a 10 minute drive, we arrive at our training area. Now teamwork is paramount due to the loud barking and general confusion prior to the start. Once the dogs are yoked, the training begins! Prior to the start there is a cacophony of noise from the dogs. Now, all are silent. Traveling at approximately 30 km/h the landscape is filled with the sound of many paws.

Huskies are healthy and enthusiastic athletes. Our Huskies have competed in many  races and have placed under the top 5. Currently we do not actively compete.  We have become specialized at tours and tourism.

Have you ever dreamed of knowing more about the life of Huskies?

We invite you to attend one of our training tours. The meeting point is our home in Seeburg. From there we will drive together to our training area. During the drive we provide information about the unique nature of the Huskies and we are happy to answer any questions you might have. Once we arrive at the trining area participants are welcome to help with the preparations. During the tour, participants will be able to admire the power of the Huskies as each dog is capable of pulling 8 times its own weight. At the end of the tour the dogs are attended, each dog receiving a cup of soup and some affectionate petting. After  returning to Seeburg you will be able to see how we unload and feed the dogs. After which,  information about training, care and  animal housing will be available with a cup of coffee in a comfortable atmosphere.

Our teams consist of 7-9 dogs, varying in age between 1 and 13 years. Dogs that are too young or too old for  running in the team enjoy life with long walks or "side-walker" tours. Certainly all of the dogs enjoy generous amounts of petting.

If you are interested in becoming acquainted with these wonderful animals and would like to join one of our  training tours, pleasendon´t hesitate to call us for information, without obligation.
